Alexandra is the founder of Wild Hart Ayurveda; an offering that was created out of her passion to help individuals experience radical transformation in their lives through powerful diet and lifestyle practices focused on living in alignment with nature. She is based in the Bay Area and Nevada County regions of Northern California where you can find her as a traveling Ayurvedic Retreat chef, in her treatment room, or in the kitchen decocting medicinal oils.
Having first been a student of Yoga for the last twenty years; Alexandra is a certified Hatha Yoga Teacher ( 200 hr YT), an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and Certified Ayurvedic Chef (600 hr + 200 hr Hale Pule). She has studied Ayurvedic Body Massage and Treatments in India (with Myra Lewin of Hale Pule) and in Santa Barbara (168hr Maharani Academy) under the SVA lineage of Vaidya Mishra. She is also an Ayurvedic Postpartum Doula and offers preconception care for women and couples.
Alexandra has lived in several community based programs, participated and hosted numerous retreats and workshops, all oriented towards development of the self and the mind/body connection. As of late she has been studying Vedic Mantras, Pranayama, Vastu, and Vedic Astrology.
Embodying a deep connection to the earth is what fuels her business and her life.
A playful healer. A nurturer. An animal lover. An explorer. But most of all; she considers herself a system of support and a place people can feel at home with themselves.
